    The Committee on Government Organization moves to amend the bill on page 5, subdivision (15), by striking out subdivision (15) in its entirety and inserting in lieu thereof a new subdivision (15), to read as follows: “(15) The Secretary of State shall deny the registration of any charitable organization, as defined in section two, article nineteen, chapter twenty-nine of this code, which has not obtained the applicable business registration pursuant to section three, article twelve, chapter eleven of said code: Provided, that a person or entity registered as a sole proprietor shall provide a copy of a current, valid business registration certificate from the West Virginia State Tax Department.”;

    On page 8, subsection (b), by striking out subsection (b) in its entirety and inserting in lieu thereof a new subsection (b), to read as follows: “(b) The Secretary of State shall deny any license application pursuant to this article if the applicant has not obtained the applicable business registration pursuant to section three, article twelve, chapter eleven of this code: Provided, that a person or entity registered as a sole proprietor shall provide a copy of a current, valid business registration certificate from the West Virginia State Tax Department.”;

    AND

    On page 11, subsection (c), by striking out subsection (c) in its entirety and inserting in lieu thereof a new subsection (c), to read as follows: “(c) The Secretary of State shall deny the registration if the athlete agent has not obtained the applicable business registration pursuant to section three, article twelve, chapter eleven of this code; Provided, that an athlete agent registered as a sole proprietor shall provide a copy of a current, valid business registration certificate from the West Virginia State Tax Department.”.
